Jenny Grevatte has been a Goldmark Gallery Artist for 13 years and the famous Uppingham gallery will be hosting a fifth solo show of her work from 25 October through November 2025. The exhibition will be accompanied by Jenny’s self penned book Beyond Brushstrokes to be published by Goldmark just ahead of the exhibition. goldmarkart.com will feature a specially filmed tour of the exhibition, hosted by Max Waterhouse, available free on demand 24/7 and there will be a full colour catalogue of the show.
A new short film, “Picture This”, by Jenny’s filmmaker son, Alex J Wright, about her sketchbooks and their importance in her practice will be available to view on YouTube and on goldmarkart.com from October 25 onwards.
Jenny Grevatte comments:- ‘I have moved my home and studio since my last exhibition in 2023. I now live and work in the delightful Rutland village of Lyddington. As everyone knows moving house can be very disruptive but I have been hugely stimulated by my new surroundings. This exhibition will show new work inspired both by my relocation and by recent trips to Greece, France and Cornwall. It will feature woodland and hedgerow studies, still life, wildflower meadows, nocturnes, rock formations and painted collages’.
An exciting new development for Jenny is the October publication of her new book Beyond Brushstrokes. In it she describes the themes of her work and writes about how her life and work are intertwined. The book contains 200 high quality illustrations of paintings done throughout her 50+ year career and will be available for £25 from Goldmark.
There will also be 50 special edition hardback versions of Beyond Brushstokes which will each contain two signed, original pages from her sketchbooks. These stunning Goldmark publications are only £475 per copy with a pre exhibition offer of £395 each.
